Deay Lab Monitor Job Description
A Deay Lab monitor's main functions are to ensure that the
lab is open for student use at designated times, facilitate
the use of the computer equipment by students and faculty,
make sure there is a quiet environment for students to
work, and to oversee the equipment in Deay Lab during open
lab hours.
Other functions include:
-answering basic questions of computer operations
-helping students log on to network and MyWashburn
-helping students use printers and assure that they use
proper paper
-reporting malfunctioning hardware and software
-securing the room at closing time
-other tasks as necessary for operation of open lab times
Lab monitors must be responsible and reliable.
